With over 15 years in the beauty industry and a multimillion-dollar career in permanent makeup, founder Daria Angelopoulou envisioned a brand that seamlessly merges elegance with functionality.
Based in Beverly Hills, Darcase specializes in luxury beauty tools and accessories. Inspired by her personal health journey and commitment to clean, non-toxic beauty, Daria set out to create products that are not only beautiful but deeply intentional. The result is Ovaluxe—the world’s first hairbrush with built-in dry shampoo powder. Portable, mess-free, and effortlessly chic, it redefines how women refresh their hair on the go.
About the Founder
Daria Angelopoulou is the visionary founder of Darcase, driven by a passion for innovation and the seamless blend of luxury with practicality. Growing up in a low-income family in Belarus as the eldest child, Daria learned early how to take care of herself and others. With over 15 years of experience in the beauty industry and a successful career in permanent makeup, Daria’s journey took a transformative turn after her battle with cancer.
Her experience led her to become more conscious of the products she used and the beauty products she applied to her body. While she had always loved dry shampoo for its convenience, she was disturbed by the carcinogenic ingredients found in traditional aerosol formulas. This realization inspired her to create Ovaluxe—a safer, mess-free, and ultra-practical alternative that eliminates health and environmental risks while enhancing daily beauty routines.
The Mission
Daria’s mission is to inspire women to look forward to their beauty routines, using Darcase products as a way to brighten their day, feel good, and remain practical. A mother of two boys, married, and with a deep love for nature, Daria continues to bring clean, luxurious solutions to modern beauty through innovations like the Ovaluxe dry shampoo brush.
